How Do You Focus On One Project?

I am at a point where I have so many ideas of what I want to do online, but I can’t focus on one project. I keep thinking I will miss out if I don’t start all the projects at once. I would love to hear from other people what criteria they use to choose a project, especially when they have 100 different ones swirling around in their head.
Right now I have an offline business that I would like to start, as well as a few websites. None of them require a lot of money, but they all require quite a bit of my time to start. I feel overwhelmed trying to decide which project to begin.
Anyone have any thoughts?

You bring up a valid topic and one that often plagues the entrepreneur, especially in the beginning stages.
Ideas are great. We all have them flooding into the vast arena we call our brain. Initially, I found myself chasing each idea in a million directions, and lacked focus. My solution was to allow these ideas in, but log them down on an idea sheet without censoring them. The key then was to chase down ONE idea until I saw it to completion.
I love Pat Flynn’s idea about creating a project list rather than the traditional to-do list. Creating a project list works like this: write down the end-goal of the project, and work backwards, creating mini-projects that you would complete each day or each week, until the main project is done. This allows for a little more freedom – and you build good confidence this way.
